Objectives

The course Monograph I is the first of a set of four courses that focus on the investigational part of this Specialization in Oral Rehabilitation.

In this course, the main goal is to get the student to understand and become familiar with the scientific research methodology, as well as the presentation of  scientific papers, oral and written.

Learning outcomes and competences

The student must have knowledge of different types of research and the respective suitability for various specific situations.

It should also be competent, even if properly supported, the written or oral presentation of clinical cases.

Observation, diagnosis, treatment plan, conduction of clinical steps, request and critical analysis of laboratory support when needed.
