Objectives

- Integrate the basic mechanisms of the immune system in the development of human diseases. 

-Develop the aquired knowledges regarding the fundamental pathological conditions associated with deficiencies in the immune system.

- Acknowledge the fundamental pathological conditions within the frame of oral immunpathology.

- Ackowledge the principles on the diagnosis and therapeutics of immunopathological conditions 

 

Learning outcomes and competences

The student, following the succssful completation of the course should develope competencies regarding the function of the immune system, regarding the response to endogenous and exogenous triggers.
Also, the student should be able to recognize the mechanisms of the immue response within pathological conditions.
