Objectives

This curricular units aims to apply the knowledge and skills in terms of prevention previously acquired.

Aims to develop clinical skills that enable the realization of primary, secondary and tertiary in patients.

Developing technical skills in dental public health.

Aims to develop  and aply skills and knowledge that will allow the student to develop and advise in Community Oral Health Programs.

Learning outcomes and competences

The clinical tutored classes allow students to be constantly monitored during the clinical acts performed. In clinical classes students should recognize the patient treatment needs, particularly in terms of prevention, and be able to propose and carry out a preventive treatment plan to the patient.

Should communicate with the patient in order to make him understand the treatment needs.

Participation in a community project allows students to contact groups of people and apply and develop skills acquired in terms of community oral health.
