Objectives

 




The aim of this course to provide students with 
clinical knowledge needed the clinic prárica in
the field of Periodontology . Accordingly ,
under supervision of teachers , students must
carry out clinical procedures for the treatment
of periodontal diseases.



Learning outcomes and competences

At the end of the course the student should :


-Be competent in formulating a diagnosis and
comprehensive periodontal treatment plan for
patients of all ages and conditions , ensuring
their sequence and prioritization of different
therapeutic alternatives.

-Be Competent in carrying out the above and
sub- gingival procedures by mechanical
instrumentation and manual.

-Have Knowledge of indications and
contraindications , biological principles and
techniques of basic periodontal treatment and
advanced.

-Be Familiar with and be able to fit the different
therapeutic alternatives, even in the most
complex and multi-disciplinary cases.

-Be Able to perform simple and advanced
periodontal surgical procedures.

-Be Familiar with the oral rehabilitation with
implants and peri-implant diseases .
