Objectives
The general goals of the UC Multidisciplinary Treatments I of the Specialization Course in Orthodontics are:
- To insure the knowledge of orthodontics basic sciences that are related with periodontology;
- To provide an adequate clinical experience of periodontal risks related with orthodontic camouflage and orthodontic traction;
- To develop skill related with periodontology and the implication with orthodontic treatment;
- To assure the skills related with the resolution of orthodontic problems and the establishment of the treatment plan in a multidisciplinary approach.
Learning outcomes and competences
The student should be able:
- To know the orthodontics basic sciences that are related with periodontology;
- To have an adequate clinical experience of periodontal risks related with orthodontic camouflage and orthodontic traction;
- To have developed the skills related with periodontology and the implication with orthodontic treatment;
