Objectives

Provide knowledge to students on the morphology and dental histology likely to allow the identification and recognition of human teeth, deciduous and permanents, with special emphasis on the characteristics with clinical and forensic implications.

Learning outcomes and competences

The syllabus is oriented to allow students to get the knowledge, the skills and the to identify the tissues discussed in a morphological and histological point of view as well as the clinical and forensic implications of the characteristics.
In this unit, the aim is above all to convey expertise on the subject promoting the application of this knowledge in a practical way, so the theoretical and theoreticalpractical approach, sustained in the image display as well as in research work made by students, appears to be the most appropriate approach.
