Knowledge of the following pharmacological groups: (i) drugs for pain and inflammation, (ii) pharmacology of drugs affecting major organ systems - cardiovascular system, respiratory system, gastrointestinal tract, endocrine system, (iii) anti-infectious drugs, (iv) antineoplastic drugs and (v) immunopharmacology. Relevant information in Dentistry will be pointed out: therapeutic use, adverse reactions with repercussions in oral health, precautions and need to adapt clinical protocols and drug interactions.
Knowledge of the pharmacology of the main therapeutic groups, ando f its relevance in Dentistry.
