THEORETICAL AND THEORETCIAL-PRACTICAL CLASSES
- Introduction to biological processes: Biochemistry and Medicine. Water. Bioelements and biomolecules. Bioactive components in diet. Acids and bases.
- Structure and function of organic biomolecules: Carbohydrates. Lipids. Proteins. Nucleic acids. Enzimatic catalysis. Biochemical reactions.
- Storage and transmission of genetic information.
- Genetic manipulation.
PRACTICAL CLASSES
- Laboratory safety rules.
- Precision and exactness.
- Significative algarisms.
- Concentration of solutions.
- Buffer solutions.
- pH indicators.
- Preparation of solutions with exact concentration.
- pH determination of a solution.
- Carbohydrates identification.
- Extraction and analysis by thin layer chromatography of egg yolk lipids.
