Histology and Embriology I subject has as its main goal to provide knowledge about human tissues utra-structure and also, about embriologic development of human tissues and organs. It is a subject to be taught to second year students.
Students should develop skills that allow them to understand cells ans tissues' morphologic ultra-structural characteristics and embriological development.
A critical view should also be developed to recognize the importance of identifying ultra-structure or embriologic development changes in some pathologies and their clinical presentations.
