- Ability to systematic understanding in new situations or contexts and multidisciplinary broad in several areas of dentistry;
- Skills and abilities to integrate knowledge, including a close connection and dependency between basic science and medical and dental technology;
- Ability to conceive, design, adapt and perform a significant scientific research in dentistry, identifying appropriate research methods to solve complex problems in new situations or contexts that require use of multidisciplinary knowledge, and respecting the requirements imposed by the standards of academic quality and integrity;
- Have conducted a significant amount of original research that have contributed to extend the frontiers of knowledge, some of which merits national or international dissemination in publications with the selection committee;
