Cycles of Study/Courses
Objectives
To make students aware of the essential aspects within the scope of an introduction to Psycholinguistics, getting them to develop a critical spirit towards certain areas which may come to have some aspects in common with the different topics approached.
Program
General topics to be approached:
1. Language and cognition: several positions.
1.2. Practical approach to that dichotomy.
1.2.1. Hesitation in speech.
1.2.2. Individual differences and information processing.
2. Language: an approach to language having in view linguistic and paralinguistic aspects.
2.1. Introduction to the analysis of different practices of oral and written language.
2.2. Approach to computer-mediated language.
3. Contributions of psycholinguistic experiments in the fields of pedagogy and pathology.
