Objectives

Based on a historical period perspective, the aim of this subject is to have a broader view of some of the most significant milestones of the English literary tradition, through the selection of poets and writers who best characterize each period.

Based on a historical period perspective, the aim of this subject is to have a broader view of some of the most significant milestones of the English literary tradition, through the selection of poets and writers who best characterize each period. The same criterion was used to guide the choice of the texts by the following authors:

- John Keats
- Charles Dickens
