Objectives


  1. To collaborate in strengthening the awareness of professional conduct that guides the careers of students. 2. To develop future students’ awareness of the educational value of teaching and learning of French as a Foreign Language, in the double instrumental and cultural strand. 3. To stimulate students’ appetite for (initial and continuous) training, as well as self-learning, through autonomous management and rationalization of the study and research that will direct their future professional careers. 4. To encourage students to build the specific theoretical and methodological framework of Foreign Language Teaching/Didactics, in order to raise awareness on the ways and reasons of teaching practices peculiar to teaching/learning French.

Learning outcomes and competences

Students will have to be skilled for a real preparation of FFL classes in a concrete teaching and learning context.

 

 

Students will have to be able to have a constantly upgraded critical and scientific view on their methodological work.

Students who wish to improve their final mark may only repeat ONE written test. Students must inform their teacher in writing (via email) which test they wish to repeat. Students must also be properly enrolled for ‘melhoria’ with the ‘Serviços Académicos’ so that their names are included in the marks list on Sigarra.
