This course assumes familiarity with the contents studied at the level B2.1.
The B2.2 German course offers students the continuation, deepening and development of the contents studied in the first semester, in a more intense work and in a more autonomous use of the language.
Will be studied subjects proposed by the study manual Mittelpunkt neu B2:
A) Die Präsentation der Dinge (L.4)
B) Streiten oder Kooperieren (L.6)
C) Studieren im Ausland (L.9)
In the study of lesson 4, students will discuss the function, usefulness and value of things (Funktion, Nutzen und Wert der Dinge) and the positive and negative aspects of buying and selling products online. In this context, they will prepare a written and oral presentation on a product of their choice, describing it in detail on the basis of its function and value. They will study and practice different oral presentation rules and techniques (die goldenen Regeln einer Präsentation).
In the second thematic area Streiten oder Kooperieren ?, students will develop lexical and grammatical skills to defend their ideas in a discussion. Particular attention will be given to issues related to workplace conflicts.
The subject Studieren im Ausland will address, in terms of lexicon and pragmatic-cultural knowledge, the positive and negative aspects of an academic exchange or an academic stay in another country. In this lesson will be studied the techniques of writing an argumentative text (Erörterung).
In the grammar, students will consolidate the contents studied in the first semester. In addition, they will study the following contents: Relativsätze, Adjektivdeklination, Konjunktiv II (Gegenwart und Vergangenheit / Verführung Bitten und Ratschläge, unreal Bedingungssätze, irreale Wünsche, Vergleichssätze), konzessive Haupt- und Nebensätze, zweiteilige Konnektoren, Partizip I und II als Attribute.
Through different didactic strategies, a communicative approach will be adopted, integrating different language skills, with the aim of promoting authentic communication on relevant topics in German. The language learning process will be creative and constructive, including linguistic accuracy.
Continuous assessment of students aims to stimulate progressive work, including regular feedback from the teacher on the competencies developed by students. In this evaluation mode, great importance will be given to the active and continuous participation of the students in class, including attendance, autonomous study, commitment in the accomplishment of the tasks and timely delivery of the proposed works.
