Objectives
The objectives of this curricular unit are the writing, presentation and defense of a report on the internship. The main aim of the report is to encourage the student to reflect on the internship experience.
Learning outcomes and competences
The student should be able to crticially evaluate the type of internship as an example of the professional world of language services, the working conditions offered (in-house or working from home, translation resources and tools etc.,). This implies an analysis of the texts translated and the various problems involved in translation or revision (lexical, terminological, grammatical, textual and pragmatic).

Teaching methods and learning activities
The methodology is based on group seminars that promote interaction between the students and between them and their supervisors. At this stage the students should be reflecting on everything they have learnt during the internships.
At this stage supervision by means of individual tutorials becomes the most suitable methodology for the successful production of a report, with emphasis on the correct presentation of a text that is academic both in structure and style with proper citation of the authors and sources consulted.
The supervisor also emphasizes the need to conform to the rules of academic ethics. The organization and participation in conferences, workshops with experts and other events contribute to the students’ general understanding of the profession.
