Objectives


To understand that the study of information behavior with focus on the seeking and using of information needs and attitudes is one of the theoretical and practical  areas of Information Science.

Learning outcomes and competences

Skills:
To provide students the ability to relate theoretical concepts to solve real, specific and practical problems. To deepen knowledge about the search needs and use of information in various institutional and organizational contexts (business). To enable students to distinguish and relate research method and operating models, allowing them to create, apply and reformulate them according to the requirements of the profisisonal context.
Results:
To contribute to (1) strengthening the conceptual and theoretical-methodological issues of Information Science and (2) constructing the synthesis that the student has to perform.
