Objectives
This course unit is designed for students to: - Gain thorough knowledge on the concepts of landscape; - Understand the importance of landscape reconstruction in an integrated reading of space throughout time; - Understand and interpret different types of sources, developing comparison between historical and contemporary documents and reading space from the ground; - Develop skills in landscape reading required to successfully perform a professional activity related to spatial planning; - Assess the role of landscape in development policies.
