Objectives

This course unit is designed for students to: - Become acquainted with several different hazard mapping methods; - Develop skills related to the identification of hazard areas; - Integrate information on the dynamics of the physical environment with hazard identification; - Understand the dynamics of the physical environment and organize information in information systems; - Introduce hazard issues in spatial planning processes.

Learning outcomes and competences

Develop processes and mechanisms to prevent the risk from potentially dangerous natural processes.
