Students must get familiar with some particular aspects of Spanish literature, according to literal and cultural movements and other European nation in the 19th century.
Students must:
- get familiar with some caracteristics of the Spanish movements: Romanticismo, Ralismo y Naturalismo
- read: Don Juan Tenorio" by Zorrilla; "Rimas y leyendas" by Bécquer and"La Regenta" by Leopoldo Alas "Clarín".
1. Romantic poetry: José de Espronceda and Rosalía de Castro. 2. Romantic prose: ideas prose and costumbrism. Mariano José de Larra. Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer. 3. Romantic Theater: Duque de Rivas. José Zorrilla. 4. Realism and Naturalism: Benito Pérez Galdós. Emilia Pardo Bazán in La cuestión palpitante. Leopoldo Alas “Clarín” in La Regenta.
