Objectives

Students will have to re-use and develop the skills and knowledge gained during the previous semesters, especially in two subjects: « Francês C2 » and « Tradução Técnica e Científica Francês_Português ».

Program

1. In class work will be based on different text types (Power Point presentation, abstract, operating instructions, etc.) relating to scientific and technical topics.
2. Students’ individual projects will comprise an extended translation assignment of a text and topic of their own choice as well as the making of specialized comparable corpora and a glossary with the help of the Corpógrafo.

Teaching methods and learning activities
