Objectives

By the end of the semester students should: • have consolidated and reinforced their communicative skills acquired throughout the first semester; • be able to communicate in a simple way in different situations; • have enlarged their lexical knowledge; • have deepened their knowledge of Francophonie and the habits of French speakers; • have developed their written and oral expression

1.Grammatical skills • Demonstrative adjectives • Partitive articles and defined and undefined quantities • Personal pronouns, Direct (COD) and Indirect (COI) object • The adverbial pronouns « en » and « y » • The indefinite pronoun « on » • Negation (« ne ... jamais » et « ne … plus ») • adjectives • Imperative • Future • The past tenses - compound past (passé composé), imperfect (imparfait) • Aspectual paraphrase « venir de », « être en train de » and « être sur le point de » 2. Communicative skills • communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar topics and activities.  • Understanding and writing simple descriptive, informative or narrative texts
