Objectives
This programme provides solid training in the fundamentals of microeconomics and macroeconomics to journalism and communication science students. Based on the fact that Economics is a way of thinking and not a series of facts that must be memorised, the aim is to develop the ability to think economically through the analysis of fundamental concepts in Economics.

Eligibility for exams
Mandatory attendance of 75% of classes, unless established otherwise by general law and in the FLUP Assessment Regulations.
Calculation formula of final grade
Best score between:
a) final exam grade
b) 1/6 * intermediate test + 1/6 * group work + 2/3 * final exam
Students can use the continuous assessment type during the Resit period provided their name is not included in the normal exam attendance sheets.
