The U.Porto’s doors are open to the world. And this is not a cliché. The U.Porto offers all its students the chance to benefit from an exchange programme in more than 50 countries.
For a long time student mobility at the U.Porto (OUT) was restricted to the well-known Erasmus programme, but new programmes have appeared in the last few years. Presently, programmes such as Erasmus+, International Credit Mobility, Santander Universities, and other bilateral cooperation agreements between the U.Porto and its partners take our students far beyond Europe to all corners of the world.

All FLUP students can enjoy an international experience, undoubtedly an added value to their curriculum, not only on an academic and scientific level, but also on a personal one. These opportunities for student mobility are offered under two main headings:
- Mobility for Studies: students accomplish a period of studies, taking subjects for which they obtain academic recognition;
- Mobility for Internships/Traineeships: curricular, voluntary or professional internships/traineeships students can pursue during their studies or as recent graduates in all study cycles.
