Please consult the study cycle official documents.

The Master program in Philosophy will strengthen the scientific and methodological competences required for specialized research work and/or other professional domains.

In Aesthetics and Philosophy of Art, we will deepen foundational issues about representation, the nature of art and of aesthetic experience as well as the ethical and political dimension of aesthetic problems. At the same time, we will entertain a direct dialogue with the different forms of artistic expressions.

In Ethics and Practical Philosophy, we will study authors and problems concerning the relations between ethical and political rationality, articulating the contributions of Ethics and Philosophical Anthropology with issues of interculturality and citizenship.

In Contemporary Philosophy, we address several philosophical domains by giving a special emphasis to issues concerning mind, action, language, epistemology, and aesthetics and by privileging a direct engagement with the relevant literature.

In History of Philosophy, we study philosophical works and problems that were important in their own age – from Antiquity to the Modern era – and still engage us today. The issues addressed include the social and political order, free-will, human knowledge, the existence of God and the nature of beauty.
