Objectives

Students should acquire skills that will enable them to monitor changes in the political structure in early nineteenth century and to perceive the construction of the administrative political system of the state and of the Portuguese public administration; Know the specifics of the political regime which, in the twentieth century, produced an administrative machine whose general lines favored it and perceive the changes of the 25 April Revolution (1974) to the present.
