Objectives

 To develop the civic awareness and the appreciation for cultural diversity, encouraging multidisciplinary skills; to bring about informed and critical attitudes towards the preservation and enhancement of heritage; to reiterate the importance of the practice of researching, interpreting and communicating; to support experimentation of fieldwork.

 

 

 

Learning outcomes and competences

To promote the learning of concepts, methodologies and methods applied to this subject area; to be able to identify specific forms of management, preservation and resource utilization; to acquire information about the procedures and ongoing projects.

Teaching methods and learning activities

 

Lectures using audio-visual media, having people responsible for the administration of services and projects to give some lectures, field trips.

 

Class participation, debate and the evidence of the student's knowledge will be valued. Original research of topics related to the syllabus will be encouraged, which will have as an outcome an oriented individual paper.
