Teaching methods and learning activities

Theoretical and practical lectures with exposure and discussion of topics related with tools to support development projects in the field of environmental engineering and methodologies for economic analysis and cost estimates. Realization of various working groups consisting of a preliminary project.

Eligibility for exams

Realization of the preliminary project with positive evaluation.

Calculation formula of final grade

The evaluation of the course takes place through working in groups of four elements that comprise the following components:
1.Component 1: Completion of a preliminary project and report (maximum 50 pages + annexes (maximum 50 pages)). Delivering up to 21 december 2012. Rating CF1;
2.Component 2: Preparation of a presentation of the preliminary project. Deliver to 4 janueary 2013. Rating CF2;
3.Component 3: Presentation and discussion of the draft with the teachers involved in the course. To be held on january 2013. Presentation (20 minutes), discussion (20minutes). Rating CF3.
4. Component 4: Small individual report about the unit. Deliver on 4 january 2013. Rating CF$
The final evaluation (CF) will be obtained by the sum of 4 components.
CF=0.60*CF1+0.15*CF2+0.15*CF3+0.10*CF4
