Objectives

Endow the students with competences to:
- identify and approach decision problems in a structured way;
- build models for decision problems;
- use quantitative methods to obtain solutions for models;
- use spreadsheets for the models analysis and solution generation;

Examinations or Special Assignments

It will be proposed to the students the resolution (consulting not allowed) of 7 original exercises during the lectures that will be corrected and graded on a scale of 0 to 1 marks.
Students may accumulate, with these exercises, a maximum of 5 values.

Special assessment (TE, DA, ...)

Evaluations in special time will be made only by the final exam (closed book).

Classification improvement

The improvement of the evaluation component of the distributed will be subject to a special testing during the time of examinations.
