Objectives
Students should be able to:
Discuss the decision-aid problematic in problems with multiple criteria and uncertainty.
Use formal models to represent decision situations, choose and apply systematic decision-aid methodologies, including using software tools and interaction with the decision maker.
Set up evaluation methodologies for public tenders.
Program
Multicriteria decision problems. The preference structure of the Decision Maker. Methods for multiobjective and multiattribute problems. Methods to deal with uncertainty. Classic Decision Theory: value functions and utility theory. The French School. Setting up evaluation methodologies for public tenders and applying them. Fuzzy models for decision problems.
