Know and apply optimization methods and computational tools to support the operation of transmission and distribution networks.

Generating and transmission system. Operation scenarios and interconnections. Security of supply. Ancillary services. Economic management of power systems. Unit commitment. Economic Dispatch. Hydrothermal coordination. Consideration of the transmission network. Reactive power dispatch. Optimal power flow. Dispatch of distribution networks. Network reconfiguration.
