1st Call for Pre-Applications For Studies Mobility for the 1st and 2nd Semesters 2026/27

We announce the opening of the online Pre‑Application Call for Master’s students who wish to undertake a study mobility period in the 1st or 2nd semester of the 2026/27 academic year, at a foreign Higher Education Institution (HEI) with which FEUP has Cooperation Agreements, or within exchange programmes in which FEUP participates directly.

International Students must have a valid Residence Title and the European Health Insurance Card (for non-european students) in order to apply for a mobility semester in the host institution.

Students who have already completed a Study Mobility in the 2nd cycle of the current Master can NO longer apply for this program. Students wishing to undertake a mobility program for the research work of their dissertation will have to apply for an Internship Mobility, which has its own calendar.

NOTE: this call does NOT cover applications for Bachelor's sudents, Almeida Garrett Mobility and for ERASMUS+ Internship Program.

  • LIST OF VACANCIES BY UNIVERSITY AND COURSE

. FEUP - Specific Mobility Rules for the Master's Program - if applicable (you should confirm with the Mobility Coordinator that you meet the eligibility conditions for your Master course). For specific mobility rules, please select "Portuguese" on the top page and then on Q2.                . U.PORTO - Application Guidelines for Studies Mobilities (see document on right-hand side)

IMPORTANT WHEN CHOOSING A VACANCY
When choosing the host institutions of your preference, the candidate must consult our Partner Institutions Sites and Contacts page (please switch to Portuguese language at the top of the page and then right-click to select the "translate to English" option) and their Info Sheet to ensure:
    1. compliance with the application deadlines of the host institution

    2. compliance with the requirements for incoming exchange students (e.g., language requirements, language certificates, proof of completed Bachelor’s degree, etc.)

    3. compatibility between the host institution’s study plan and FEUP’s; you should choose an institution with a broad curricular offer in your study area and specialisation branch, in case you need to adjust your Study Plan later

    4. compatibility of the academic calendars (check for possible overlaps with FEUP’s calendar)

    5. that the faculty or campus is one with which FEUP has a Mobility Agreement

If, during the Application Phase (after the final placements), the student finds that it is not possible to pursue the mobility application for any of the reasons listed above, the student will be responsible for the withdrawal and the deposit will not be refunded.

* For international students who do not speak English and wish to obtain informations about the Pre-Applications, they should make a request for an English appointment (in-person or online) via https://appointment.fe.up.pt/ or send an email to Outgoing.
