We announce the opening of the online Pre‑Application Call for Master’s students who wish to undertake a study mobility period in the 1st or 2nd semester of the 2026/27 academic year, at a foreign Higher Education Institution (HEI) with which FEUP has Cooperation Agreements, or within exchange programmes in which FEUP participates directly.
International Students must have a valid Residence Title and the European Health Insurance Card (for non-european students) in order to apply for a mobility semester in the host institution.
Students who have already completed a Study Mobility in the 2nd cycle of the current Master can NO longer apply for this program. Students wishing to undertake a mobility program for the research work of their dissertation will have to apply for an Internship Mobility, which has its own calendar.
NOTE: this call does NOT cover applications for Bachelor's sudents, Almeida Garrett Mobility and for ERASMUS+ Internship Program.
NOTE: Some places are exclusive to the specialisation branches of M.BIO and M.EEC. If you are allocated a place that does not correspond to your specialisation branch, mobility may not be possible.
compliance with the application deadlines of the host institution
compliance with the requirements for incoming exchange students (e.g., language requirements, language certificates, proof of completed Bachelor’s degree, etc.)
compatibility between the host institution’s study plan and FEUP’s; you should choose an institution with a broad curricular offer in your study area and specialisation branch, in case you need to adjust your Study Plan later
compatibility of the academic calendars (check for possible overlaps with FEUP’s calendar)
that the faculty or campus is one with which FEUP has a Mobility Agreement
Online Pre-applications available only to Master's students who have already formalized their enrolment at FEUP for 2025/26 and who have not carried out a study mobility in the 2nd cycle of studies.
Candidates, who detect any technical inconsistency in the system, should contact directly the SIGARRA team that developed this process, communicating the problem via email sigarra@fe.up.pt with Cc to ougoing@fe.up.pt.
