Master in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering

The Integrated Master in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering has been awarded the international EUR-ACE quality label. This certifies MIEMM as a high-quality programme which meets the international standards for professional engineering education at the masters level. [+ info]

 

The Integrated Masters in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering enables graduates to work in the domains of Engineering and Materials Science. This Masters lasts five years and ensures a sound training in the areas of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Management and it comprises a group of course units which cover all the areas of materials.

Career Opportunities:
In general, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering graduates have found an adequate placement to apply their qualifications in Industry, Services and Research and Development.
The main career opportunities cover a vast range of companies which need experts in metals, polymers, ceramics, composites, corrosion, plastic deformation, metal extraction and recuperation, casting, revetments, surface treatment, heat treatment, quality, CAD/CAM/CAE, environment and management.
