Objectives
Give the students a deep knowledge about 3D Solid Modelling, namely in its use in the development of 3D Reconstruction systems.
Program
Assisted Fragmentation and Reconstruction (2D, 2.5D and 3D): discussion, differences and similarities. Objects reconstruction in different contexts, with special emphasis in the archaeological objects. Different methologies of assisted reconstruction: based on the analysis and direct comparison of surface lines of fracture; oriented for the retrieval of 3D objects with known basic characteristics; based in surfaces association. Development of test and evaluation prototypes.
