Objectives

The main objectives of the PEA course are:
1) Contact with national experts on renewable energy and on environment technologies and polities
2) To develop sensitivity to the relevance of the national energy and environment polities to industry.
3) To develop knowledge of the national energy and environment strategies.

Program

Since the curricular unit is based on seminars, the program below is just tentative. The speakers were all contacted with one exception. However many have put some limitations that must be discussed.
Electric mobility and its impact on the national electrical network.
National energy policy for biomass
National energy policy for solar photovoltaic, concentrator solar power, wave and wind energy.
Hydro and mini hydro

Teaching methods and learning activities

The course has two components:
1 - seminars.
2 - written review report and its oral presentation and discussion.
