Teaching methods and learning activities

This course comprises theoretical exposition classes supported by audiovisual means related to technology and to the use of robotic systems.
Practical classes complement theoretical classes, allowing the students to deeply study the analysis of sequence of operations, the dynamics of robotic systems, the contact with industrial robots, their use and their application in industrial tasks.
A visit to a Metal-mechanics enterprise with automatic soldering machines is planned.

Eligibility for exams

Frequency is attained by the students that are properly enrolled and that don’t exceed the absence limit of practical classes, according to the General Evaluation Rules of FEUP.

Calculation formula of final grade

Test/Exam 70%
Monography 30%

Examinations or Special Assignments

N/A

Special assessment (TE, DA, ...)

The special evaluation students must do the monography and the test/final exam.

Classification improvement

The students can improve their classification by doing a written exam (that corresponds to the test – 70%) and/or an oral exam (that corresponds to the monography – 30%).
