Director: Óscar João Atanázio Afonso

The Director is appointed by the Council of Representatives for a four-year term.
The current term began on March 21, 2023.

The Director’s duties are:

• To manage FEP on all matters that are not within the competency of the other governing bodies and to ensure the normal operation of the school;
• To preside over the Executive Board, the Scientific Council and the Advisory Board;
• To represent the Faculty of Economics before the University bodies and externally;

       The Director’s duties are listed in article 22 of FEP’s Statutes.
