Objectives
The course’s objectives are the following ones: (i) develop team-work skills; (ii) promote the integration and application of theoretical knowledge to the resolution of complex problems;(iii) allow for a multidisciplinary approach, emphasizing ethical issues.
Learning outcomes and competences
At the end of the course, students should have developed the following skills and competences: 1) project management skills; 2) understanding of fundamental concepts in the areas of economics and management, learned through project-based learning methodologies; 3) analytical, critical, reflective and creative thinking; 4) skills related to time management, problem-solving skills, decision-making skills, learning strategies, planning skills; 5) interpersonal communication, collaborative work and conflict management and negotiation.

Teaching methods and learning activities
The teaching methodos combine a reduced number of theoretical sessions with project based learning methodologies and hands-on activities within a collaborative environment. The partnership with Microsoft will allow students to obtain training and certification in Microsoft Project, a software used in project management. Throughout the semester, students have the opportunity to develop, in teams, real projects where they can apply and test theoretical knowledge and concepts.

65% project grade (contemplating the following itens: 50% professor assessment; 15% peer assessment; 10% project client assessment) + 35% oral presentation
