Objectives
- to provide elements for a critical understanding of leadership;
- to analyse the centrality of power in the study of leadership;
- to contribute to a reflexive attitude towards leadership in organizations.
Learning outcomes and competences
- an inclusive, eclectic, integrated and contextually aware understanding of leadership, thus challenging the hegemonic conceptualizations that have dominated this field;
- an understanding of how leadership practices may enhance interactions between people at work;
- a self-diagnosis and a personal reflection around own and others' experiences of leading and being led.

Calculation formula of final grade
a) DISTRIBUTED ASSESSMENT: Test 1 (30%) + Test 2 (30%) + Group assignment (40%)
- test 1 is about topics 1 to 5, and test 2 about topics 6 to 8;
- the group assignment involves delievering a written report and oral presentation and discussion;
- in each test and in the group assignment the minimum mark is 9/20.
b) FINAL EXAM (in época de recurso only): 100%.
