Calculation formula of final grade

Examination componentsFinal report (written report: 60%),  intermediate presentation (written report + oral exam: 25%), test on the joint sessions contents (15%).

In addition, there is an initial report that will not be graded, but the failure to comply with delivering it on time implies a penalty of 1 point in the final grade.

The non submission of the final report by the deadline or the absence from the oral presentation or the test will imply the assignment of a grade of zero.

The approval to this course requires obtaining a minimum grade of 9.5 points (out of 20 ) in the final report.

Exceptionally, in duly justified situations directly related to the Master in Economics, the oral presentation may be undertaken via Skype.

Given the specificity of this course, there is no final exam.

Important deadlines:
i) delivery of the initial report - October 14, 2016;
ii) delivery of the document underlying the presentation - November 19, 2016;
iii) presentations - November 22, 2016 or November 29, 2016;

iv) delivery of the final report - January 23, 2017.

Examinations or Special Assignments

Exceptionally, for students who cannot attend any of the dates, in duly justified situations and directly related to the Master in Economics, there may be a special assessment (written and/or oral) to replace the test. The special assessment will have to be requested by the student until December 16, 2016, being subject to approval by the lecturing team.

Classification improvement

Given the specificity of this course, there is no regime for grade improvement.
