• Familiarize students with the "State-of-the-Art" Information Technologies.
• Raising awareness on the current and future role of Information Technology in the organization at the operational level and supporting the design of new business models.
• Discuss the role of information technology in organizations.
• Study the eBusiness. Concepts, contours and features.
After the frequency of the discipline it is expected that the studentwill be able to recognize the importance of Information Technology and Information Systems in business environment and how it can support the functioning of organizations and the creation and development of new businesses

Initial presentation of themes and concepts by the teacher. Discussion of the themes by the class in the plenary or organized in working groups. Analysis and discussion of case studies to explore some of the themes of the program.
