The objectives of the Financial Economics course are to provide students with a global view of the main contributions of economics to the understanding of the financial system and to introduce students to the techniques of theoretical and empirical analyis of financial markets and financial assets.

Evaluation may be distributed or by final exam. The distributed evaluation consists of two tests, with the first to be held during class hours, and the second on the day of the final exam.
The final classification of the distributed evaluation corresponds to the simple average of the marks obtained in the two tests.
