Objectives

This module is built around various themes related with the main strategic challenges faced by today’s organizations. The course aims to deepen and develop the knowledge and skills acquired by students in the Strategic Management course.

Learning outcomes and competences

The objective is to provide students with competences and conceptual tools for strategic analysis and decision. Students that successfully complete the course should be able to understand current strategic challenges and to plan and define strategic actions in order to meet those challenges in an integrated manner.

Teaching methods and learning activities

Combination of expositive and practical methods. Theoretical presentations, followed by examples and case analyses. Besides the analysis and discussion of cases, students are expected to develop a group work related to one or more of the course’s topics, thus applying the acquired conceptual tools.
