Objectives

The course is aimed to give students knowledge and skills on energy markets analysis, particularly on the european markets.

1- Microeconomic foundations of market analysis.
2 - The coal market.
3 - The oil market
4 - The natural gas market
5 - The electricity market.

Presentation of the core subjets and discussion.
Practical sessions on energy markets - spot and futures- using the main energy exchanges sites .
