1) To understand the difference between project management and operations management; to recognize activities that should be organized as a project.

2) To understand the project life cycle.

3) To build on the previous knowledge of project management, namely in the area of project networks.

4) To study the main principles and techniques of project management, with a strong focus on practical applications.

5) To use software in order to solve project management problems.

Teaching methods and learning activities

The concepts of project and team management will be demonstrated with practical activities and exercises. Specialized software (Crystal Ball and MS Project) will be used to solve project management problems.
