Abstract (EN): The ASTEP project aims to develop a framework for the use of network-based learning within process-based high-technology companies. This document evaluates the training performance of specific course prototypes. The evaluation results are derived from a set of trials that according to an initial specification span over two industrial partners and three learning institutions. Each prototype has been implemented by applying the ASTEP framework to transform conventional materials to a format amenable to a telematics-based approach. The transformations adhere to task models, task definitions, and technology guidelines laid down in a major public deliverable of the project, i.e. the Framework User Manual (D2.4). This preliminary version of a configurable document reports on the work completed to date. The completed reports will appear in the final version of this document and will be based on the analysis of feedback results from b-users, course creators and instructors taking part in planned trials. These trials are suitably phased in time to influence the final course products.
