Abstract (EN): This work presents an experimental validation of a simplified numerical method for the calculation of the natural frequencies of thin pipes. This model is based on the approach of the displacement field combining Fourier expansion and analytical functions. The deformation shell model involves the concept of thin walled shell and the variation method for the minimum total energy in the structure. The external force system consists exclusively in inertial forces from the surface acceleration. The results presented are compared with experimental data obtained with ESPI and accelerometry techniques.
