The I9Source project intends to promote the adoption of Open innovation practices in Small and Medium enterprises. These practices will encompass the identification of ideas with an innovation potential (from internal or external sources), its implementation into new products / services (through RTD projects) and its market exploitation (through direct commercialization by the company or through other companies). In parallel it is intended to support the implementation and management of Research and Development and Innovation (RDI) Quality Standards in companies, following the newly Portuguese norms on this matter.
These objectives will be reached through specialized innovation consulting services, supported by an IT platform based on Web 2.0 technologies that can be linked with existent information systems, as ERP or others.
Such a platform, in addition to promote and support Open Innovation practices in companies, should also support the implementation of a RDI Management System in accordance with the national norms and also allow the development of a RDI oriented sight of the company scorecard. |
