Summary: |
The Project will identify the various e-learning programs applied by higher education institutions (HIE) and conduct a detailed assessment of a sample of higher education e-learning strategies found to be effective supporters of higher education requirements. When possible the project will estimate the potential impact of the implemented e-learning programs, but more importantly it will identify and detail the strategies applied by leading institutions and well-known success stories, as well as those institutions that have applied new and innovative e-learning programs. The project will accomplish the following main objectives:
- To conduct a study on e-learning strategies applied by the HIE of 5 Member States;
- To encourage the uptake of e-learning programs within HIE across Europe through dissemination of e-learning strategy case studies that represent effective supporters of higher education requirements.
Through developing a comprehensive study, the project will develop a single resource that will be an effective tool in assisting education institutions implement e-learning programs, which meet their particular curriculum, training structure and student body requirements. The project will involve several dissemination activities (conference and a web-based e-learning module). |
