  • B-on (Biblioteca de Conhecimento Online) provides access to a vast number of publications and electronic services, ensuring this access to the Portuguese academic and scientific community.
  • Extension of content at some publishers (Wiley, Taylor and Francis, AIP, SAGE) in accordance with the new B-On 2025-2027 consortium.
  • Subscription to the ProQuest Central database, which brings together various multidisciplinary contents, replacing EBSCO's ASC and BSC databases;
  • Extending the possibility of publishing in open access, with estimates that by 2027 nearly 80% of the content published by b-on authors in the 14 publishers covered can be published in open access free of charge.

ESI

Essential Science Indicators (ESI) provides emerging science trends, researchers, institutions, articles, journals and influential countries in your research field. With science trend statistics extracted from over 12 million articles from over 12,000 global journals (source: WOS).

SJR

A portal that includes the journals and scientific indicators developed using information contained in Scopus®

Ulrich

Ulrich's Periodicals Directory is a bibliographic database that provides detailed information on academic and research publications, electronic journals, peer-reviewed titles, well-known journals, newspapers, newsletters and more.

Authenticus

An association of scientific publications authored by researchers from Portuguese institutions. One of the objectives of the platform is to provide bibliometric indicators centred on the researcher, scientific area or the institution.

ORCID

ORCID is a system to create and maintain a registry of unique identifiers for instructors/researchers such that activities and search results are connected to the identifiers. ORCID is a meeting point that connects researchers with search results by inserting the ORCID identifier in the various systems. ORCID is completely free.
