Mário Marques is an Assistant Professor at FEP School of Economics and Management, University of Porto and an integrated researcher at the Research Center in Economics and Finance (CEF.UP). Mário is graduated in Management (2000) and PhD in Accounting (2014) both from University of Minho. His research interests focus mainly on the effect of taxation on firms' decisions (e.g. location and level of investment, profit relocations), as well as the impact of anti-tax avoidance measures. Other research interests include taxation and inequality, taxation and capital structure; tax compliance and economic effects of tax incentives. Mário has published in the Journal of the American Taxation Association, Accounting and Business Research, Journal of International Accounting, Auditing and Taxation, FinanzArchiv/Public Finance Analysis.
